“Steven get out of the bathroom, I have to take a shower” I yelled “just a second Amanda” Steven repliedI thought to myself that I was pretty excited to attend the first day of school as an 8th grader , I'm officially not a freshman anymore, I've always hated being the new kid on the block and hated not showering on the first day of school because my little brother is so annoying and honestly wants to ruin my life, so I gave my hair a quick bun and I head to school I finally arrived at school, there I see Ava and Emily greeting me and approaching me. Ava and Emily are my best friends and we have been friends since second grade. “Hey, aren't you so excited that we're finally in tenth grade! No more new kids,” Ava said excitedly, “so excited” I laughed “so who are your teachers?” Emily asked. “I have Mr. Gerald and Mrs. Gilbert, do you?” I asked "none you have" Emily and Ava complained. The bell rang and I went to my first lesson, story with Mrs. Gilbert, she talked about how she wasn't a normal teacher and that she would be strict about turning in your homework late, you know the normal first day of school of the teachers. Finally it was lunch, I was starving because I didn't have time to have breakfast. I sat in the food court and Ava and Emily joined me as I was eating my chicken wrap that my mom had made for me. Just as I was enjoying my chicken wrap, there she was, Claire stood up and her 2 little minions follow her wherever she goes. She was the most popular girl in the whole high school, even more popular than the older boys, but she definitely wasn't the nicest, her father is the principal of this school, so she basically runs the school. she won every competition imaginable, including the ta...... middle of paper......honest, I thought Claire's talent was pretty good but she also looked like a monkey with a hula hoop, I'm just super mad with her. they were announcing the winner and I saw Emily take the jury sheet and give it to the host, he was about to announce the winner. “The winner of the 2014 talent show is… Ava and Amanda congratulations”, the host cheers with the crowdI was shocked really shocked, I saw Claire angry and stole the microphone from the host “I AM CLAIRE ROSE, I DESERVE TO WIN, I'M CLAIRE ROSE" Claire asked. The security guards took her away, I went straight to Emily and gave her a huge hug. when I got to school I saw everyone talking to different people, the jocks were laughing together with the nerds, everyone was friends. It didn't really matter if I won because this is my prize, to see everyone happy and I prefer this prize to the trophy.
