Drinking eight glasses of water a day was not a difficult goal for me to achieve at all. To help accomplish this goal, I brought along a 74.4 ounce jug of water. Every now and then I took small sips and by night I had consumed the entire jug. On the occasions when I didn't have my pitcher, I drank four 16.9-ounce bottles of water. I remained strong with this goal throughout the semester. Despite my success with that goal, I had a very difficult time eating out on weekends alone. To help combat this problem, I tried changing the goal to eating out only two days a week. This plan, however, immediately failed. My family ate out often during the week and it was hard to say no when it was offered to me (especially since I wasn't paying!). I also spent a lot of time with my boyfriend eating fast food; for this reason I tried to look for the "healthier" options offered by restaurants. The healthier choices were just as bad, if not worse, than what I would usually get. Overall, I think my nutrition goals were great, I just need to work harder to be successful without eating out
