As our world seems to become increasingly violent and mass shootings seem commonplace, many government leaders are pushing for some gun laws that would ban the public from owning firearms of any kind. This is wrong because, as citizens of the United States, we have the right to bear arms. Despite the recent increase in gun violence in the United States, government leaders should not create laws that restrict the use of guns, whether it involves magazine capacity, concealed carry, or eradicating assault weapons from the public.
