Upon arrival we passed a conference room with a sign on the door that said Boston Renegades. As we walked to the elevator to go to our room, we saw the doors to their conference room and the team was gathered around a music player and many bottles of whiskey. After going up to the room to drop off my things and change into more comfortable clothes, I decided to go down to their team room and attempt to ruin the party. I never willingly associated myself with the football player type person, however these women were amazing. While I admit I wasn't entirely sober when I arrived at their postgame celebration, I had stepped out of my comfort zone to go talk to people who prior to my training in Women's Writing I would have despised and ostracized. These women really appreciated the fact that I joined their party and that I learned more about what life was like as a footballer. I know that in my time, after writing about women, I will continue to advocate for women and serve as an example to my friends and family that men can be
