Does investing in a college education outweigh its cost? Learning new things and becoming a smarter person must require so much money that not everyone has. Going to college has become more expensive than it has ever been. Over the years it has been statistically demonstrated that the cost of a course and of entering university is really high. Low-income students are sometimes exempt and sometimes not. Is there really a price for education? I believe that education should not have a cost, which will never happen but at least taxes will be lowered. The increased burden of college has a negative impact on the economy because people doubt whether it is really worth it, which also has a positive impact because some people are still willing to pay the cost of education. To begin with, I believe the author Abel Jaison and Deitz Richard are right based on their information. Tuition over the years has become very expensive and something that not everyone can afford anymore. It was never easy to attend college but as the years went by it became more difficult. As the author explains, it is now more about money than what kind of education is being taught to others. Another example provided by the author concerns “trends that have led many observers to question whether a college education remains a good investment.” The statement explains how we humans doubt the use of education in the long term due to the amount of money required. On the other hand, universities have started charging more fees on everything than ever before, this makes it harder for us to try to go to college. To sign up for classes, go to orientation, ask for something necessary...... middle of paper ......try me.? Although it will be expensive to obtain the benefits of college, it has been concluded that investing in a college education still appears to be a wise economic decision for the average person. As you get into your career, there may be careers like a 40 year career that would be worth around $25,000 a year. Workers with a bachelor's degree earn more than $1 million more than high school graduates during their working careers after high school. This author concludes that many people are in debt due to the demands of college. In conclusion, I believe the benefits of college still outweigh the costs. For the reason that no matter what college is, it will always be something that will be heavier than something else. College will always ask for money and for this reason I believe the benefits of college outweigh the costs.
