IntroductionAgricultural activity is the first human activity on the natural ecosystem. It not only changes the local natural ecosystem, but also has a huge impact on the ecological environment. When many scholars trace the historical roots of ecological environment problems, they will naturally be concerned with the traditional way of agricultural production, even at the time when the foundation of the traditional agricultural technology system was laid. Agricultural development over thousands of years has created a splendid civilization, but also accumulated many environmental problems. The negative effects impact the prevailing agricultural production and leave some poor conditions for future generations. In this article, the whole process of the impact of human activities on natural ecology was discussed to provide a more adequate historical basis for future environmental protection. Impact on the ecological environment of ancient agriculture In primitive societies, many forests were destroyed. People have deforested to drive away wild animals, develop agricultural land, and build homes. Deforestation caused serious damage to the forest and the animals that lived there. Easter Island was once heavily forested. There are many statues made of stone on Easter Island (Hughes, 102). Sculpture and transportation required a large amount of electrical energy and resources. Therefore, the island's subtropical forests disappeared after deforestation. There were no raw materials for shipbuilding and transportation of the statues and there were no edible wild animals due to the extinction of tree species. In 1774, Europeans arrived on the island, kidnapped the indigenous people as slaves, brought infectious diseases such as smallpox, and introduced sheep... middle of paper... ulgate to many countries, which play an important role in the island's protection of agricultural ecological environment. "Ecological agriculture" is a new type of agricultural production system, meaning that the modernization of agriculture will follow a reasonable ecological path and lead to sustainable agricultural development. "Ecological agriculture" is the only way to promote the sustainable development of agriculture in the modern world. Works Cited Crawford, Dorothy H.
