There are offline places and content that are not appropriate for students and therefore are online. This has been a major concern for educators and society as a whole. However, this does not prevent greater use of technology, including social media, in the classroom. Social media tools have become a part of people's lives, so it is easy to integrate them into the classroom (Brooks, 2014). However, there are many risks associated with integrating social media tools into the classroom, just as there are risks associated with traditional use of online tools. The issue of electronic safety is one of the biggest risks associated with the use of social media tools in the classroom as there is a risk of putting students' safety and privacy at risk. According to (Mackenzie, 2012), the risks involved are diverse: cybersecurity, antivirus, password and firewall issues, as well as email scams. Faculty and administration, along with students, need to be aware of the risks associated with using social media in the classroom. There have been reports of online sexual predators posing a serious risk to online students. Due to the anonymity of the Internet in forums and chat rooms there are people whose goal may be to lure children into their web of deception. Students should be informed and encouraged about the friends they choose on these sites. Students who ignore school rules and policies Students who operate online often forget school rules and policies as they often fail to connect with social media, school and the world of friends. fact that anything posted on social media tools has an impact on the school.
