In places like Mexico and South America, tourism is key to the country thriving and striving for economic success. Without tourists, many places in Mexico such as Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel and Puerto Penasco would find themselves in economic devastation because the tourism industry is what transforms their economy, creating more revenue for businesses by providing locals More job opportunities to help aid in creating a thriving region. Tourism in almost every region of the world provides some form of economic growth that benefits the country. In Mexico, for example, there are many small villages and towns that survive thanks to what tourists have to offer, from hospitality to products, goods and even attractions. In Mexico, there are thousands of small, isolated towns and cities that rely heavily on visitors to generate income. Places like Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Penasco are great examples of tourism-driven economies where tourists generate most of the money to help people and their economy struggle. Cabo San Lucas is located at the farthest point of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico. Cabo City has many travel attractions to offer, such as fantastic resorts, an abundance of activities for people to participate in such as snorkeling/scuba diving and shopping, and countless cultural sites to explore.
