Topic > Everyone should have equal access to education

Education is the most important thing in a person's life, especially in the life of a child. Many things can hinder a child's educational future, and many people have their own opinions or theories about how children can have a proper education. The hard truth is that upper class parents have more educated children, but the reasons are very statistical and vary. Wealthier parents tend to have more educated children not only because of their ability to provide more educational resources, but also because of their social environment, their educational background, and the way they raise their children. All children should have an equal chance at a great education, not just the wealthy. Many other important factors assist in the answer to why this happens, such as environmental effects, social position, school, home, and peer motivation. When a baby is born, he is in awe of everything he sees, experiences and hears. . If your child grew up in a poor family, chances are he or she will be increasingly different from one raised by a wealthy family. For example, whether you take pride in teaching your child or whether you simply allow him to learn on his own or in school. Studies show that talking to your child from birth increases their vocabulary and ability to say things, thus making them smarter. A study by Gwen Dewar, Ph.D. of The Baby Center (2013) analyzed the daily dialogue between 42 parents and their babies. Dewar's findings:“Children from professional families listen to an average of 2,100 words per hour. Children from working-class families heard an average of 1,200 words per hour. Children with parents on public assistance heard an average of 600 words per hour... In other words, children at the top rung of schools so... middle... rich and poor." Nieman reports.
