Eric Schmidt had a lot of experience when he started working for Google. Before starting to work for Google, Eric Schmidt had worked for Novell as the company's CEO in April 1997. Novell is a leading infrastructure software company, where Schmidt leads a 20-year achievement. In 1883 he became chief technology officer at Sun Microsystems Inc. where he led the development of Java. Prior to Sun Microsystems Inc. he was on the research staff at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) along with Bell Laboratories and Zilog.
