Holocaust denial should not be illegal. Even if the opinion is harsh, it still shouldn't be illegal. Everyone should be entitled to their own opinion, even if someone doesn't like that person's opinion or thinks it's harsh. Everyone should have the right to free speech. No one should have it taken away. Everyone can express their opinion and say what they would like, of course if it is not a violent threat. Even if some people are offended by Holocaust denial, people deserve to say what they would like, even if others don't want to hear it. People get really offended by the denial because there were so many deaths of Jews and extremely terrible things happened to them. Deniers believe that Holocaust denial means denying everything that happened during the Holocaust. This determines whether a person would like it to be illegal or legal. Everything that was just explained about what the Holocaust was, people denied it and thought it was false or made up. It didn't matter if people had evidence to support the existence of the Holocaust, they still believed it was a myth. People refuse to believe that any of the tragic events that happened to the Jews were real and insist that it is false. All the tragic events that happened to all the Jews were all false to them, even if they were put in the gas chambers. They believe that the Jews themselves invented everything to gain an advantage in life. Everything is made up and they believe it couldn't have happened at all. Deniers say that the death of six million Jews is just an exaggeration, and none of them died by the Nazis or were sentenced to death by Hitler. They also believe that none of them died terribly. They believe that the Nazis could not have killed them or even harmed the Jews. They believe that the Nazis never had an official party, or that the Nazis never had meetings on how to plan to kill the Jews. That none of them killed any Jews and, if they did, it was not planned or organized by the state. Deniers believe that the camps in which the Jews were held were all a lie and that none of them were real. All the Jews who were killed in the camps were a lie and they are very offended and believe that Holocaust denial should actually be illegal. They get really offended by how people can deny what a horrible event happened to most Jews. They think it is very rude, disrespectful and ignorant. How can anyone deny that the Holocaust happened? There was clear evidence of some of the events that occurred. The event itself was truly heartbreaking and extremely sad. People say that deniers disrespect the Jews who died during that event. They are disrespecting what happened to them. It was a terrible thing, six million Jews died, and deniers deny every single death. Jews died in very heartbreaking tragic events, they deserve to be respected and remembered. People who deny that this happened are just very sad.
