Topic > Our Planet Is What We Make It - 1124

Can you believe the world emits more than 2.4 million pounds of carbon dioxide per second! Over the past few decades, our society has consumed enormous amounts of fossil fuels and our carbon footprint has increased rapidly. Our carbon footprint is the amount of greenhouse gases we release into our atmosphere that contribute to global warming. I believe our society needs to be more informed about energy use, fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions. It is a very serious problem that everyone needs to worry about and take action to reduce. I think people may be aware of their energy use, fossil fuel consumption, and carbon emissions, but they are not aware of the choices they can make. Furthermore, people are discouraged and ignore the fact that they can make a difference in their impact (carbon footprint). Furthermore, the government and businesses must commit to lowering the prices of green and energy-efficient products or offer incentives to encourage people to buy green and energy-efficient products. People would not only save money, but also save energy. They are not the only individuals who have to consider fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions, but large businesses and the manufacturing sector are large contributors to the problem of carbon emissions and environmental destruction, and the type of impacts that are having on earth. in other words, once we become more aware of what can be done and are more responsible in carrying out eco-conscious decisions and actions, we can significantly reduce our carbon impact (emissions) on our world. I think our society is discouraged and not convinced that… the medium of paper… isn't more difficult than it is. Plants and animals will not be able to adapt because the Co2 level is far above average than it should be. The next generations will not have to deal with this problem, but the next one will. People need to be more discerning about the effects of carbon emissions and the consequences, and the possible alterations they can make. Instead, government and business must work together to engage people in reducing their impact on the world. It's not just about what can be done, but also about the solutions and revolutions we can bring about to make the next generation better. In other words, once we are more attuned to what needs to be done and are experts, we can carry out eco-conscious choices and actions, we will greatly reduce our carbon impact (emissions) on the earth..
