Topic > Examples of Transformational Leadership in Nursing

One thing I think I can do would be to express my personal opinions about a certain situation. I can also take into account the opinions of others. In this way, I would demonstrate transformational leadership in the team I work on. It would build trust and respect between me and the people who work around me. Plus, if a difficult situation ever arose for me or someone who worked with me, I could listen to everyone's opinion on how to handle it. This would encourage everyone to be creative and think strategically when faced with situations. By listening to my colleagues' concerns, opinions, and suggestions on different situations I would demonstrate effective transformational leadership. Creating a positive work environment is also a very important part of being an effective transformational leader. You need to build that positive environment by making people trust you and letting them feel comfortable enough with you to express concerns and new ideas about any situation. One way I could improve my skills to be an effective transformational leader is by looking at other leaders around me. I was able to see what they focused on in their nursing careers and try to focus mine on similar careers. I can also see how they behave when put in a leadership position and how they behave around them
