One of the unhealthiest diets in the world is the American one. It consists of processed foods and a good dose of television. America easily has the most fast food restaurants in the world. Leave it to McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King or any other fast-food restaurant to serve extremely cheap and even unhealthy food at any time of day or night. “It tastes good, so why not?” This seems to be the question many people are asking today. Because it is so easily accessible and workable, it is made very tasty and extremely unhealthy. Many Americans find themselves indulging in these fatty American foods on a daily basis. While it may taste good in the moment, it has a terrible effect on your body in the long term. Eat it regularly and it becomes an unpleasant and deadly habit and can cause heart failure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and many other life-threatening complications for the body. The American diet has numerous pitfalls and disgusting habits. The American diet is one of the worst diets due to its portion sizes, processed foods, and low cost, but the American diet can be overcome with determination, a healthy diet, and an exercise routine. For starters, fast food is a leading cause of obesity in America. Places like McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King sell huge portions of processed foods at extremely low prices. Because it's quick and easily accessible, it becomes a daily habit for the most on-the-go Americans. What's wrong with these foods if most are made with corn. The American diet is a corn-based diet. Ioana Patrigenaru writes in her online article about what is hurting the American diet: “The results showed that...... middle of the paper......you can overcome them with a little determination, a healthy diet and rigorous exercise. If the nation learned to discipline itself by eating less junk food and more vegetables and exercising more often, weight would be lost and self-confidence would increase tremendously.
